The political problems with the government for forcing the Cubans to adopt a certain ideology is an essential cause for many. The Cuban Government from its beginnings always forced the Cubans to think in the same way that they did. That continues to this day. In my country there is no freedom of expression, that is, an ordinary person can not express what he thinks if he goes against any revolutionary principle. The economic problems associated with poverty and the scarcity of basic resources for people is another cause of Cuban emigration to the United States or other developed countries.
In Cuba there is a reality and there is no middle class. The poor are getting poorer and the rich are richer, and generally the rich are the politicians who govern. This is a major way of controlling the population through the economy. Cubans are seeking financial freedom built on the basis of work and effort in the United States. People want to see that they are paid according to their work and their value as a person within a company. This does not happen in Cuba since the average salary is too low to keep poverty levels
high.
The last and most important cause is the absence of a clear and definite future for young people of the new generation. Personally, this was an influential factor in my decision to come to the United States. In Cuba I did not imagine studying 4 years in the university and then working for a minimum wage. However, in this country there are many possibilities and the government helps you to study and grow in your professional life. Each person is worth their knowledge and experience and are paid accordingly. Everyone is free to build their desired future only need passion, perseverance and sacrifice to achieve your dreams.
To conclude, these are the main causes for the increase of Cuban emigration to the United States. The economic problems associated with government ideology, economic problems and extreme poverty in Cuba, and the lack of future for young people of the new generation are what motivated the Cuban people to emigrate. In my opinion, this emigration will not end until the system established by politicians in Cuba is completed.
