The HItler Youth was disbanded after the war, but the member were not punished considering they were only children and they had not committed any crimes themselves. The adults running the organisations however, were sentenced from 25 years to life in prison because they were brainwashing children into thinking that jews were ruining the German race. School was brought back after the war, now with the Nazi ideology out of the way, many textbooks were to be re-written causing the students to be behind on their studies, and many subjects were to be changed. It was said that many children had to re-do years that it was common seeing a seventeen year old sit beside a nine year old in grammar class. It took years for the children in German to become on track with their accurate studies. Although Hitler’s Youth was taught to be helpful by creating future generations of soldiers, Hitler’s Youth played an important role in Hitler’s agenda because the youth provided a strong army that shared his ideas, taught girls how to be obedient housewives, and promoted nationalism according to the nazis
