Internet was one of the greatest inventions in the nineteenth century, it has progressed since then to meet our needs and like every other invention the internet has its benefits and flaws. The World Wide Web has made a difference to too many people all over the world, that if the internet was abolished the world would go on a downward spiral. This essay shall elaborate on the positive outcomes such as how the communication gap has been filled, getting information is a click away, entertainment comes in various types and business is far easier and convenient.
In today’s world the first and foremost advantage of the internet is allowing us to interact with each other, and by the use of internet this has become easier and reliable. When internet was first created it was for the use of the defense department called Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency (DARPA). It was used to communicate within the army groups. But as time passed the internet was allowed to be accessed by any common man at the leisure of their own homes. In today’s world the first and foremost advantage of the internet is allowing us to interact with each other. There are various forms in which communication via the internet is carried out, for example e-mailing, online chatting and video conferencing. Communications using these methods has become more convenient and faster but if the internet was to be demolished communication would be very slow and least efficient, people would go back to using snail mail.
