movie most of the information is both factual with tiny inserts of opinion. This movie offers excellent insight to Martha Graham’s life. It allows the viewer to use visualization and words in order to understand the story better. This movie covers a comprehensive amount of data as it spans from Martha Graham’s birth until her death. Unlike a book this source adds more entertainment for the viewer and helps stimulate visual learning. Overall this a good and reliable source as the author is credible and worked at many universities, such as the New York University School of the Arts.
In retrospect, this would be a good source to use for this paper. First, it gives bibliographical evidence that one could use to introduce the paper. Second, it also tells how Martha Graham thought which would help in being able to determine the papers prompt, which asks, “Would the late Martha Graham approve of the performance of works presented by the Martha Graham Dance Company on March 23 and 24, 2017 at Memorial Hall?”. This site talks about Martha Graham’s life and her impact on the dance industry. It starts by stating that she is like the Picasso of dancing and how she was a renowned figure. Next, it allows us to understand her childhood and family and what made her passionate about dance. Subsequently, it allows us to understand her life before becoming a choreographer as she was a dancer herself. Lastly, it gives insight up until her last days as she was always involved with choreography.

This source tells of her childhood all the way up to her death, her contributions to the dance industry and her ability to be one of the greatest choreographers of all time. Throughout the website objective language is used as the site is designed to educate the reader. However, the website does not offer tons of information, but it does offer enough detailed information. Also, this source is credible as an organization that is renowned produced this information.

This book intends to inform the audience about the concept of modern dance. However, this book is very old and was published in 1976 so much of the information might be out of date. In this book, all of the information is factual and objective towards educating people about modern dance. However, some of the data is over generalized and somewhat hard to understand. This book does a reliable job on informing the reader about modern dance and its history. Overall, this is a good source of information and the author is credible as he is a well renowned author and

This would be a decent resource for the history of modern dance. However, the fact the book is out of date could cause various problems in the credibility of the source. Nonetheless this book would be a good source for defining the idea of modernism and helping to understand whether Martha Graham would agree with the idea of modern dance or not. It also would help in comparison when writing the differences between modern dance and other dances. In conclusion, this would be a valuable source to have in the body of the paper when modern dance is needed to be defined and comapred.
