The Pueblo Indians Traditionally made polished pottery without desings. In a freely burning corrode fire, their pots fired red; a smothered reducing fire furnished black pottery. Some Pueblo Indians made some thin walled hard fired gray pots decorated with with fine black lines. Some indians made black pottery fired in manure covered blazes.
Paleoindian time started during the ice age. Icebergs overlaid large pieces of North America, large animals, now extinct, roamed the land. The Paleoindians were around the time of 13000B.C to 6000B.C. The Archaic, a time period of the Pueblo Indians, the Pueblo indians the environment gradually became warmer and drier. After the ice age, many people had to move and adapt to a new settings. These people live from 6000 B.C. to 500 B.C. The basketmaker area of the Pueblo Indians were around 500 B.C. to A.D. 750. This was the age when the actual Pueblo civilization
