Learning institutions provide a learning environment where students can gain knowledge and skills through the help of professionals such as professors and instructors. Most of the educational facilities that are available in the districts are public schools. Public schools are poorly equipped with teachers and resources making it limited to the people who live in the poor regions. “The people who are classified as being in the middle and low class of the American regions do not have access to the quality education that learners in the upper class enjoy” (Smith, 2016). In the admission processes to higher learning institutions, it has been cited that “many individuals that do not have access to the high quality education do not meet the minimum requirements for the admission to the institutions “(Smith, 2016). This only shows that there is racial segregation in many parts of the country. Usually, despite the learners from different social classes having access to different qualities of education, they still have to fight against the same entry point to colleges or universities. This type of inequality has oppressed many people of color that cannot afford high quality education in the lower levels of learning.
