Globalization resulted in the easy access to foreign countries and gave birth to new types of problems, which are xenophobia and racism. Xenophobia is the fear or distrust of individuals from other countries. The Ku Klux Klan and the Jewish holocaust are proof that racism and xenophobia can result in the suffereing and deaths of many people. Racism and Xenophobia are serious growing problems because of their harmful physical and psychological effects to the victims. A closer look at the research will show that xenophobia and racism are current problems that need to be addressed immediately.
