DAY 1: Redwood National Park is located in Crescent City, California. Redwood National Park was established in 1850. Outsiders who wanted gold moved into the park to get gold once they figured out there was gold at the park.
DAY 2: Why us Americans treasure this park is because we believe it has the tallest and most beautiful green leaved trees on Earth. The trees here are more than 30 feet tall! And it also protects many things, making this park amazing! They provide homes for animals. When you walk in the woods, all you see is beautiful green and auburn brown trees that are wide enough to fit cars in the trunk, that are tall enough to have giants stand by the trees and look short, to be so big that even if a group of people were to stack on top of each other, they would not reach the middle of one of the trees. Some languages are still used today such as; Tolowa, Yurok, Hupa, and Karuk. Redwood is 133,000 acres big. About 700,000 people stay at Redwood each year. I have gone to the Redwood National Museum. The Redwood National Museum holds artifacts that the Indians used and had. Many kids like to go on the trails. If you go to the trail you will see many trees from 30 to 250 feet tall.
