therefore having a three month break would benefit the idea of traveling over summer vacation. Students may miss more school from taking time out of school to go on vacation. Some students also play summer sports and may be apart of a traveling team. On the other hand, some people say that school should be year round. This point of view makes sense because students tend to forget the information over the prolonged period that they're not in school. However new information is introduced and old information is more often than not reviewed upon the return of the new school year, therefore students should be able to comfortably enjoy their traditional summer vacation.
Students would eventually get lazy if school was to be attended year round.
The longer kids stay in school the less aspiration they obtain to do better in school. Doing what one can just to get by will eventually become the mindset of one if the school year is extended. Furthermore, students would then be distracted by other things that they're worried about such as summer occupations.
Finding a summer job would then become challenging if not stressful to one if the school year were to be prolonged. Some students who are eligible to work would be stressed out about the fact they would have to balance work and school when school is year round. Some parents conduct their children to possess jobs whether it is summer or not, therefore having to balance both throughout the entire school year would most likely not be enjoyable.
Year round school is not a very dandy idea, due to the fact plenty of one's personal situation would then have to be adjusted and students would then be stressed out. Therefore, students should not have to attend school year round, because extracurricular activities would be disrupted, students would eventually get lazy in school, and it would be harder for students to find jobs in the summer with shorter breaks. In other words, the traditional school year is the way to
go!
