Essay On Service Dogs
Service Dogs A study in 1988 conducted by researcher Sandra Barker; found that patients anxiety levels fell twice as much after patients spent thirty minutes with the dogs. Service dogs are important for people who have disabilities, immune disease, or who have stress. They provide a sense of protection, freedom and help them cope from what's going on in their life. For instance, there are different kinds of service dogs that are good for all sorts of things to help those in need, or to protect the public. There are border protection, guide and hearing dogs, therapy dogs, seizure alert dogs, and search and rescue dogs. Many of these dogs will go into the military, the police force or will placed in the life of individuals.
For instance, Labs and German Shepards are genuinely trained for the Military. Military dogs are trained to do various jobs. They are trained to detect bombs. Detecting bombs help

Police dogs are trained to detect drugs, weapons,bombs, find missing people, or chase down criminals. For these dogs to learn this it keeps the general public safe. It keeps people who try bring bombs, weapons, and drugs in the air ports out. These dogs serve as a double check security just in case someone might have missed something. If a natural disaster happened, it can cause people to be lost under all the diapree. Sometimes, people can miss a victims cry for help but the police dogs can hear them; or if they are knocked unconscious the dogs can smell the victims under all the diepreye. The police dogs can pick up the scent of a missing person if they are held captive and are hidden. The dogs are faster than humans, this gives the cops an upper hand on criminals that are trying to outrun them. If the criminals try to run the dogs are commanded to attack them and let them know where the criminals are. These dogs help make the world a safer place to
