Her name was Evangeline Delacroix, a very young student of philosophy, but also a radical feminist revolutionary. She lead the women of Sirenea in a revolt called the “Womyn’s Revolution.” By her side were women like Gertrude Lowell and Charlotte Ashworth. Using intrigue, they toppled the regime and started to rebuild their country.
Establishing a socialist republic, the newly elected Prime Minister Delacroix gave the native land back to the Copiosans and offered to make them sovereign from Sirenea. But after talking with her and hearing her plans for the future, they decided to remain a part of the country. She began to preserve and restore the environment and disbanded the harmful drilling companies that had destroyed it. She freed the press and drafted the official Constitution of Sirenea.
Sirenea’s future had become much brighter. With help from England and France, it changed from a harsh dictatorship to a strong republic based on socialist principles. It became very well known for its strong opposition of Nazi Germany, although with its policies of pacifism and neutrality, it did not participate in any World Wars. It also known for its rivalry with America, since the Red Scare and Sirenea’s socialism. Evangeline Delacroix died in 1952, a few months after her reelection as Prime Minister.
