Essay On Study Halls

Should good students be awarded and recognized more for their academics? Today in a wide variety of schools, students do not get awarded enough for their success in their studies. I believe that more schools, teachers, and principals should push for more rewards for their students and also give them the recognition they deserve. I believe that in our school, opening viking times and study halls for students with a grade average of a 3.5 or higher would serve as a huge benefit for our students and grades. By opening these study halls and viking times, this would allow for students to try harder in school, and focus on their studies. This would push students to try their best, and reward them for the time they put into school. For example, as me being a student in high school, if I saw all my friends got to leave for their grades, I would very much want to find a way to leave too. I believe that this would be a great way to push students to focus on their studies and would be a great way to improve GPAs. I believe that a 3.5 gpa is a reasonable average because it is in the honor roll, and it is a good average to shoot for.
“What if they are behind on work?” I believe that having certain guidelines and rules would fix this. Schools could make it a rule to make sure students are all caught up on their work and have at least the 3.5 grade point average in order for them to leave. The school and principal could decide as a staff also who has had a good attitude in school and are staying out of trouble. If a student causes ruckus in school and has a bad attitude, but still has the 3.5 grade point average, the student could be forced to stay back and not be able to leave, decided on the teachers and
