A fundamental function of the executive branch is to guarantee that laws are approved out and enforced to enable day to day tasks of the federal government as accumulating taxes and protecting the motherland and representing the United States’ political and trade and industry interest around the world. In Judicial branch they decide if the laws are constitutional, and it is appointed by the president and there are 9 justices in it and also can overturn rulings by other judges when they see it fit. The difference between the 3 branches of the federal, state, and local is they all have their own exclusive powers. Federal government handles money print and declares war and establishes an army and navy and enters into treaties with other foreign governments. The state establishes local government and they issue out license (where it marriage, driver’s etc.) They also regulate intrastate trade and conduct elections. The job of the state and federal working joint to establish courts and create and collect taxes and work in building highways and borrow money from other government. The Local government networks with public education and federation of police and fire department and human services. The Tenth amendment clearly stated that the United States Constitution: “The powers not delegated to the United States by the Constitution, nor prohibited by it to the states, are reserved to the states respectively, or to the people.” However, the state and local works together with same agenda interest to protect and serve the local needs.
By sharing the power between the national and state government, which allows us to appreciate the welfares of diversity and unity.
By setting up a national policy, the system is fair to everyone and the states do not have to bear the heavy burden of regulating their currency. On the other hand, issues such as the death penalty have been lift up to the individual states. Where to have death penalty depends on the history of the state and needs and philosophies.
The supreme law of land only for United States and its citizens. It is called supreme because all other sub forms of government within the country and all legislation passed by individual states and their local government cannot pass laws that displace the rights and laws of the federal government. The Federal government job is to give and protects the right of all citizens their right which cannot be trespassed by any other legislation who interrupt these right.
