In today’s session, group members received education re: the definition of addiction, the addiction process, and the different types of substance(s) withdrawal symptoms.
PO was on time and moderately participated in the group activities. PO shared his alcohol use experience and reasons to stay clean and sober with peers, stated “I was a monster when I was drinking. I was really mean to my family and others. I am surprised that I didn’t die for all the alcohol I’ve consumed”. PO reported attended 2 self-help meetings this past week and was verified. It appears that PO is making steady progress in treatment at this point.

Now, I learned to challenge myself to stay clean and sober, and be a good father for my son”. PO reported attended 2 self-help meetings this past week, and attendance was verified. It appears that PO is making steady progress in treatment at this point.
