Essay On Why You Should Visit Texas

I have lived in Texas all my life, Fort Worth, and I have traveled to multiple countries and states but there's no place like home. Being a fortunate person, I've been able to meet people from all over. I met most of these people off a cruise I went on with my family porting out of Galveston. As you know during the summer cruise ships are known as the most thought of family or couple vacation. While I was on the cruise I met a significant amount of people from all regions of Texas. As surprising as it may sound traveling around Texas alone could be a summer vacation with all the different activities and sceneries that it hostess.

The Texas economy is steadily increasing and one of the United States largest economies. As statics shows in the year 2012, Texas grossed more than California and New York put together by
Out of all the states, Texas is the only state that was an independent state. As you know Texas was a part of Mexico from 1821 until 1836 when Texas won its independence. For Texas to win their independence there were a total 5 fights; Battle of Gonzales, Texas Revolution, Goliad Massacre, Battle of the Alamo, and the Battle of San Jacinto. In the Battle of San Jacinto, Texans captured Santa Anna and made him sign the Treaties of Velasco which ended the war and provided Texas independence. Theses battlegrounds are now open to the public to visit and embrace the importance about Texas. You could go visit the Alamo in San Antonio and walk around to see what the men and nurses stayed to fight for our Texas.

Texas has so much that it offers that's why it's a great state to be in, even if it is just for vacation. I've traveled to multiple countries and they were beautiful but they don't offer the variety that Texas offers. In Texas, you get a little of everything, country, spans, soul, islander, etc. That is why I consider Texas as the land of the free and a great state to be
