I think Wal-Mart has ranked its investors and management appetites as top priority, simply because business exists for the purpose of making money for those people essentially. It seems that Wal-Mart jockeys its employees and suppliers into the position that will give the company the best everyday low price for its bottom line. I think the predominant amount of ethical issues that you see facing Wal-Mart in the news are due to the popularity of the state of health care in our country and the issue of living wages at large corporations pay their base workers.
