The purpose of this activity is to reinforce what you have learned so far about local area networks technologies.

Fast Ethernet is a faster version of IEEE 802.3. It promotes the use of Ethernet at 100 Mbps using the same access method. It also can use Fast Ethernet cards that use data rates of both 10 Mbps and 100 Mbps.

The type of cable that you use for Fast Ethernet is Twisted pair and fiber.
3. What does IEEE 802.15 define? (Minimum word count: 25)
IEEE 802.15 deals with the subject of Wireless personal area networks (WPANs) which includes standards for Bluetooth, co-existence of WPANs with other wireless devices, high-rate and low-rate WPANs, and mesh networking.
4. Which access method is used in wireless LANs? (Minimum word count: 5)
The access method used in wireless LANs is CSMA/CA.
5. What is the frequency band used in an IEEE 802.11n network? (Min. word count: 10)
The frequency band that is used in an IEEE 802.11n network is 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz.
