Ashford University Ethical Behaviors and Persuasion
The vision of this essay is to detail the importance of ethical behaviors and its significance in persuasion. It will explain current events where ethics lack and ethics distinguish the influence on persuasion. Modifying on whom the persuader may be, or what field or line of work they are associated in, ethical guidelines are set for most professions. Many times a persuader can find themselves in a rough predicament where arbitration can be damaged by gaining authority, money or acknowledgements. (News & world report, 2013) In this example we notice how employers have persuaded their employees into buying health coverage throughout the company rather than finding affordable coverage. An average family health insurance policy now cost more some compact cars, and four in ten companies will likely pass more expense onto workers, according to a closely watched survey of businesses.(News & world,2013) There is a great deal of money spent every year on advertising by healthcare companies to try and directly persuade companies to buy from them. The Supreme Court has set its ruling, which means Federal requirements will begin in 2014. Not all Americans will be forced to buy healthcare coverage from their employer. “The ethical determinants of most advertising and public relations messages are, thus those responsible rhetorical techniques. Advertising for healthcare it either portrays ethical persuasion or does not. It all depends on the healthcare policies being affordable to the lower class Americans. The Government agencies or private organizations have a greater need or right to the usage of the public media to persuade any healthcare policies.
Most healthcare providers have an obligation to the patient or customer to persuade good marketing of ethical behaviors from their industry. Persuading by its own nature encourages consumers to pursue items that they may or may not really need, in the healthcare industry persuading the right ethical behaviors towards the category of “consumer first”.
