Brief summary of Jenna’s medical condition
The medical condition of Jenna is paraplegic that came by as an attempt to repair her scoliosis several years ago. The scoliosis was secondary to a rare disorder that is known to cause tumors develop around the myelin sheath on the spine. Her body mobility became limited because her lower parts became paralyzed. However, she could manage to take care of herself and communicate. When Jenna was hospitalized, the prognosis showed abdominal sepsis although she later attained stable health status that would enable her to go home.
It was better for her to go home since she had already stayed in the hospital for eleven months and she had also developed the stable medical condition. Jenna eventually went home though the asserts that complex medical decisions delayed her discharge several times.

Her health condition at the time she gained stability necessitated these resources. She required a ventilator for twenty hours a day. She also had a jejunostomy tube that would be used for feeding and gastronomy tube for draining. Also, Jenna had an esophagostomy outside of her neck. Jenna also required urinary catheterization ever four hours. Since she wore a back brace on her legs, the equipment required daily care and maintenance. She needed a ventilator and external battery that required another wheelchair. The necessity of catheter required to have a licensed nurse for ten hours per night. The barriers that Jenna encountered were financial since her parents had low income and also had four other siblings who needed to be considered too. There was another issue of acquiring a new
