*The objection to theory of ethical relativism :
1 - Some moral standards are found in all societies : it means there are some ethical acts that are immoral in all societies like : Killing
2- Moral differences do not logically imply relativism: IF there are different ideas about the ethical standards it means that one of them is right and the other is wrong because moral is just like since some people think disease is caused by evil spirits and others think evils has nothing to do with disease. Moreover, the truth is evil has nothing to do with disease ,so we conclude that some people are better informed than others. For example: chewing Qat is allowed in Yemen ,but it is immoral in many other societies. As a result, chewing Qat is wrong , but it is allowed in Yemen because they do not have informed about the disadvantage of Qat as much as other societies have.
3-Relarivism is incoherent: it means that if we accept the relativism that will lead to consequences because for example slavery in some societies is not wrong ,yet even though it is wrong. As a result, some companies will just do such as these immoral things because they are following their standards. Moreover, that will increase the slavery number. 4-Relativism privileges the current moral standards of a society: this objection said the theory is saying that the moral standards of each society has their privileged place that is above all criticism by members of this society or by anyone else ,so it means the standards cannot be mistaken . Furthermore, criticism said that the theory is wrong because there are some standards in some societies consider as moral standards , but they are not . For example: marijuana is not consider
