Ethics Paper
Many organizations in the world today want and expect to turn a profit just as well of having a successful business; with this they have to have ethics. A company that trades nationwide has several ways of earning revenue, but the company has the duty of the profits for their worker, stakeholders, and customers. However, not only ethics control the whole aspect of the organization, social ramifications plays apart in the business as well. If the company produces poor ethics it will reflect on other aspects of the organization. .
Organization are created from a person or a group of people idea that is put in place to start a business, and if the idea become a success then the business as an whole becomes successful and grows. Companies have levels and when the company starts bringing on stockholders’ a strategic plan has to be implemented; this plan would consist of a model to run the company under. When people run a business they have certain plans included like the company’s vision, mission, and the ethics policies. The code of ethics and conduct gives the employee at the company a guideline of what to expect from the company if the polices are broken (McNamara).
A code of ethics is put in place to provide expectations for the employees and gives the company standards that are very important. There are employees that will have concerns about the policy or that are when many companies use the code of ethics as a learning tool to show the punishment of those that violate the rules giving. However, in the world today a struggling economy can cause ethical issues that could result into actions against unethical behavior, within the company the employees and others are affected by the business down slope.
The problem came about with EZ-GO Texas branch when the plant manger got greedy and went astray and started a downward sparrow. The branch out of Texas controlled all
