Abstract—A new stub loaded equilateral triangular microstrip antenna(ETMSA) has been proposed . The new structure has the enhanced bandwidth of 13.63% in the Ku band.Stub loading technique is used to enhance the bandwidth performance. Two rectangular stubs are inserted on the radiating edge of the patch. The gain of the antenna is stable at about 5.78 dBi.Detailed analysis of the patch has been done in this paper using MOM based IE3D simulator.
Index Terms—Bandwidth enhancement,ETMSA,Secondary stub effect,STUB effect. ————————————————————
1 Introduction
Microstrip antenna are very popular in wireless communication systems due to their several advantages like low cost, thinprofile, light weight etc.,but on the other hand, microstrip antenna suffers due to its bandwidth problem [1].The most straightforward way to overcome the low bandwidth problem is to use the thicker substrate [2]. Unfortunately , the thick substrate results in impedance mismatch, large radiation loss [3] [4]. There are several techniques of Bandwidth enhancement processes. Lots of slotting mechanisms [5] i.e. wide

A radio signal is an electromagnetic wave propagated by an antenna. Radio waves have different frequencies, and by tuning a receiver’s radio at a specific frequency, you can pick up a signal, because the starting point, or direction of the wave changes. An interesting aspect of radio waves is that each wireless technology has its “small band” available.…

There are three main types of antennas that can be used for WLAN APs: directional, omnidirectional, and right-angle. Describe each of these antenna types. You can get more powerful antennas that can broadcast longer distances. Why would these antennas be limited in use for standard WLAN placement in a home?…

Omnidirectional antennas are installed on most WLANS with AP’s that have them. Omnidirectional antennas do just what they sound like, which is transmit data in all directions at the same time. The signal can go horizontally and vertically; and up and down. However, there can be a dead spot in a minute area directly above the antenna which has no signal. One common example of this type of antenna is the dipole antenna. It is referred to often as the rubber duck, because it is highly flexible. (Fitzgerald, 233)…

Radio waves offer another benefit to the wireless system in addition to their range. With radio signals it is possible for multiple carriers to exist in the same space at the same time without interfering with each other. The key to making this possible is variation of frequencies. As long as concurrent frequencies are no…

Wi-Fi is one of the wireless signal types, it uses IEEE 802.11 specifications to make a wireless LAN or local-area network that we can secure, like a home or office network, or even a public network like a coffee shop. Mostly a Wi-Fi network is a way wired connections thru a subscription to the internet leads to a wireless router sending and receiving data from and to customer’s devices, not only they connect to the internet but also to other users directly. The Wi-Fi range is usually wide so most homes or small businesses can communicate together, but for larger homes or even college campuses for example, must implement extenders in strategic places to extend the wireless signal all over the needed place. Wi-Fi standard evolved quickly, with newer versions of it making the signal more efficient & faster than previous versions. Right now most devices use 802.11a/b/g or n, but is also backwards compatible in order to make sure that an older device or laptop computer can also connect to new Wi-Fi routers. But to get the optimal connection speeds, your router & devices must use the latest 802.11 technology, so once you upgrade your computer or get a USB wireless n antenna, consider also getting a…

"An Occurrence at Owl Creek Bridge" or "A Dead Man's Dream" is a short story by American author Ambrose Bierce. Originally published by The San Francisco Examiner in 1890, it was first collected in Bierce's 1891 book Tales of Soldiers and Civilians. The story, which is set during the Civil War, is famous for its irregular time sequence and twist ending. Bierce's abandonment of strict linear narration in favor of the internal mind of the protagonist is considered an early example of experimentation with stream of consciousness.[1] It is Bierce's most anthologized story.[2]…

The election of 1860 was among four candidates: John Breckenridge, a Democrat, John Bell, Constitutional Union Party, Stephen Douglas, a Democrat, and Abraham Lincoln, a Republican from the North. When election day came and all votes were in Douglas had twelve electoral votes, Bell had thirty-nine, Breckenridge with seventy-two, and in the lead, Lincoln had 180 electoral votes (Peters and Woolley). Lincoln had won the election, but he had not won everything yet. The South would succeed into a new country called the Confederates and start a war over slavery. Lincoln would need some help to win the war, but what could give him the advantage? The solution were three new inventions. While many innovations were…

An alteration of cardiovascular function in children such as heart murmurs goes undetected in some cases. However, when a heart murmur is detected it must be determined if it’s a functional murmur or abnormal. A function murmur does not require treatment and is seen as normal in children. In fact, my brother-n-law died at the age sixteen due to an enlarged heart. Unfortunately, he lived most of his life playing sports which put additional stress on his heart. There were yearly physicals required to play sports; yet, a heart murmur went unnoticed on numerous occasions since he seemed to be a healthy individual. He had no previous health problems or complaints. One night he went to sleep and didn’t wake up. Sadly, the autopsy stated that the cause of death was an enlarged heart. “Acquired heart disease in children continues to present challenges to the practitioner. Although guidelines for diagnosing acquired diseases are available,…
