Counter Argument education is feeding of the brains as it provides knowledge about different fields of science. Therefore, there must be updated educating methods to encourage students to study and learn more, Also there must be effective solutions to overcome the problems facing education and affect the students negatively. In the article "Gender Bias in Teaching", the author Kathryn Scantlebury discusses a spreading problem which is teachers treatment to students according to gender biases. The author wants to show how teachers gender biases can produce stereotypic expectations about students success and participation in the classroom. Also, she showed out teachers biases to whites against black. Although the author provided some valid arguments and facts throughout the whole article , she had to clarify these arguments more as some are groundless in addition to committing fallacies and providing weak evidence.
In the article, Kathryn Scantlebury addresses gender biases in schools in which she states some strong and rational ideas. She was correct and very convincing when she states that "There are some signs that gender bias in schools may be decreasing in some areas" this true evidence as gender bias is really decreasing almost vanishing. Also I agree with her about the raise in the percentage of girls participating in science and this true as every day the number of girls who choose to study different fields of science is increasing. This is clear when she states "The percentage of girls participating in science has increased and achieved parity with boys in biology, dentistry and algebra." . I also agree with her in the idea of treating all students in the same way means that some students will have a better learning experience than their peers as every student has his way to understand the information because students are different from each other in culture, knowledge and brain skills , so everyone has his own way of treatment and teachers
