Shortly after working at Adam’s Camp, Farrelly worked in a nursing home called Arbors of Bedford. From here, she worked with the elderly population from the ages of 60 and up. Surely, this was not her ideal job, although, she noticed how this occupation provided the same self-reward as Adam’s Camp. At Arbors or Bedford, she assisted residents with daily living such as bathing, getting dressed, and other activities. More importantly, what she found fascinating was the resident’s stories about their childhood or memories.
