The Seven Years War was mainly the result of trading rights. British Colonials (living in present day new england) wanted more space so Britain wanted to expand their territory into the Ohio valley but that was controlled by France who didn't want to give it up.
So basically war broke out bc France and GB both wanted the Ohio Valley
