I bet if you ask any guy in this country if they like Hooters, they would give that look saying did you seriously just ask that question. Hooters is a sports bar mostly for guys, and is famous for its wings and waitress attire. This restaurant is a perfect place to have some wings and a few beers, watch the game, and have a great scenery while you’re there. I like to go there once in a while with some friends whenever a good game is on, but it comes with some consequences between me and my girlfriend. By evaluating the Hooters on I-17 and Peoria, I believe that this is good place to if you’re a guy and a sports fan for its service, food, and environment, but does has some flaws to these attributes.…

Women are known to be great fans of shoes. At last count, Philippine Politician Imelda Marcos had over 2,500 pairs of shoes. Although Mrs. Marcos’ love for shoes is extreme, it is a very good example of how women love their shoes. Since most women have about one percent of the money Mrs. Marcos’ has, they must deal with enjoying their measly fifteen or twenty pair of shoes. One desire a woman of Imelda’s wealth and most other women share is quality. Some shoes are bought at big name stores like Dillard’s, Macy’s or Shoe Warehouse but some women have found that the Payless Shoe Store shoes have lasted just as the long. Over the years, the pumps, boots and sneakers purchased from Payless Shoes has made women just as happy as the major retail stores.…

Thomashow's assignment using a tree prompts the reader to focus on self framework in ecological identity. I feel that my work and study in Environmental Science resides on the leaf of the tree. It is obvious to me that the root of this important work has begun years ago with the efforts of environmental archetypes (as Thomashow refers to Thoreau, Muir, and Carson)(p30). I can clearly relate myself to this analogy since I was originally planning on studying engineering and technology but soon realized that all branches of science including art, are merely a branch of environmental studies. The environmental archetypes laid out the foundation of “role models” and brought various organizations to their attention. It involved the research and work and showed their commitments to the community. They were dedicated to write and document their experience for future generation. Their passion and abilities to overcome obstacles in life has become an inspiration to others, and left a foot print in the history.…

Restaurants are a very huge industry and have the option of succeeding or failing depending on what and how they go about advertising and promoting their concepts. Moreover, restaurants have many critics that can affect their business as well. Everyone’s opinions on overall dining experience differ from one another. My best friend dined Bombay Chopsticks and didn’t have positive feedback. I wanted to go there as well for a long time, so my boyfriend and I went on a dinner date at Bombay Chopsticks. Bombay Chopsticks is located in Hoffman Estates, Illinois and it is known for unique Indian dishes blended with Chinese seasoning. What I am going to discuss about this restaurant is the setting, cleanliness, and service of this dining experience to help you better understand what this restaurant has to offer to its many customers.…

The past several decades have seen an escalating trend in the rate of childhood obesity not only in the United States where25-30% of children are affected, but also in many of the industrialized nations. Childhood obesity has continued to be a major issue in the public health care system. The economic cost of the medical expenses as well as the lost income resulting from the complications of obesity both in children and adults has been estimated at almost $100 billion (Barnes, 2011). Overweight children are more predisposed to the danger of becoming overweight in their adulthood unless they ensure healthier eating habits and exercise. It is worth nothing that the current lifestyle in which many children spend a lot of time watching television as well as the consumption of sugary and fatty foods has significantly contributed to the high prevalence of childhood obesity.…

As each and every person has their own set of views and beliefs of the world and the environment around them, there can be common values that they share with one another. With these shared values come groups of thought that are born from the agreeing of one person with another on how they should behave when it comes to the environment and the utilization of it. While one group may believe that we are fatefully intertwined and bound to nature, the other may say that the resources surrounding us are akin to the reigns around a horse, used to control and benefit the master of them.…
