People need information to face some problems. According to the article " Solving information-based problems: Evaluating sources and information", written by Brand-Gruwel, S. , Stadtler, M. (2011), found in Elsevier Learning and Instruction 21 (2011) 175-179, the authors state that solving these problems needs from people that they are able to describe the information problem, search and choice functional and trustworthy sources and synthesize information into a coherent body of knowledge.
