Everyday Use By Alice Walker Analysis

For this assignment, I chose Everyday Use by Alice Walker. I chose to talk about the point of view in this story, which comes from a first-person narrator, and we are seeing everything from her point of view. In this particular story the narrator is, also, the protagonist, which means she is working really hard in this story because she is wearing two hats. I believe that she is a very sympathetic protagonist, for she seems to really care about the feelings of the other characters even though she, herself, has been through some tough times.
