Question 4: Whay are the globalization factors that influenced the production of Krrish in Singapore? How many countries representatives helped in creation of mega success film Krrish?

Answer 4:

►Krrish was 60 percent made in Singapore. The globalization Factors that influenced the production of Krrish in Singapore:-

♦Government approval: For the first time in the Indian film history, A large scale alliance was created with the production house and Singapore’s tourism board (STB). As such, as a first venture again, the shooting was undertaken with a complete government approval. Roshan was approached by many tourism boards to shoot in their country but of the lot, only Singapore fitted the bill on every count.
♦Geography (Infrastructure): The shooting requirements were such that full government support on permissions and use of infrastructure was required. Roshan knew the script gave a clear direction that of the two big outdoor locations one was in the Himalays and the other had to be in Asia somewhere. The government was keen to support the shoot and the landscape was ideal for the movie. All the infrastructure were available for Roshan there.
♦Technological Factor: Singapore is far advance in technology rather than India. It was cost effective to take technological support from Singapore instead of Hong Kong, Bangkok, Malaysia or Japan. Roshan was very sure that he needed skyscrapers and flyovers for his shooting. This was because instead of CG, live action stunts had to be performed which involved dangling from tall buildings, running on heavy- traffic roads, flying off from building to building in the heart of the city and leaping on to flyovers were required with the support of technology. Singapore gave all the support to Roshan.

►There are many countries representatives helped in creation of mega success film Krrish. The countries involved in movie are- Mr. Rakesh Roshan recruited SFX team from Los Angeles of United States of America for

Back when I was in Kweilin, people did not think about the fancy cars that make the putt-putt-putt sound or the mortgage on their house. Their worst troubles were their children’s moans of hunger. Most people only dreamed of their next meal. Everybody had humility, all these Chinese people bound under the same problems, all of them having to work hard. Even though they were so different, they learned to cooperate and work together.…

This location was carefully chosen by Stallone because of his wanting to educate people about the situation in Burma. "I thought, ‘Let me be a little responsible. Let's do something that's actually happening,' " he said. With the Burma situation being in the news recently about monks protesting, this movie could not have been released at a better time. "I just felt right now this is a great story," he told Lauer. "No one knows about Burma. Burma is a horrendous situation ... It's the longest-running civil war in the world, 60 years against these peasants, and it's horrifying. It isn't just a civil war. This is torture, beheadings, cannibalism, buried-alive children, it's the most horrific situation on the…

Hollywood is the most popular form of cinema and filmmaking; it is the first one that comes to mind when people think of cinema today. But, the world is not limited to just the American and Hollywood perspective as other countries make their own films even compete against the familiar style. Transnational films break through both ‘national’ and ‘international’ forms and can be taken on a global and local scale. Though, it does not limit media to one country, but works across many national cultures and economies.…

The popularity of Bollywood produced films have steadily increased over the years in Southeast Asia with the economic reforms of the 1990s in India. For all I know, most people in the West are aware of the term with a shallow understanding to it with a few people who have actually studied the facts behind it. In the process of selecting my interviewees, the individuals who decided to proceed with the interview held very broad, generalist views on the first two questions. Many of them have never had the opportunity to experience a Bollywood film. The closest they would consider to be “Bollywood-esque” is Slumdog Millionare.…
