The knowledge that scientists have of fossils and bones explains their theory. While by the faith of christians explains their theory of God creating man. “Evidence for evolution comes from the fossil record, genetics, and comparative studies” (Lerner and Wilmoth-Evolution). The study of apes skulls and humans do show similarity, and they can lead to the idea of evolution. There is some belief in this theory as there is in most theories. However this differs from the idea of God and man due to the fact this theory relies on solely belief. There is no proof to backup this idea, other than like in creationism, how complex everything is. The argument associated with this that can be brought up is, how did the apes get here. This usually refers back to the big bang theory. One of the most common contradictories with the idea of Evolution is if evolution did happen, why are there still apes here, or why is isn’t evolution still happening. Well this is a question yet to be answered but in some ways it can be explained. “Evolution does not proceed at a constant rate. At times, a gradual change occurs that allows for a good reconstruction of the process from the fossil record. This is known as phyletic gradualism”(Lerner and Wilmoth-Evolution). If this is true about evolution then phyletic gradualism has taken place for the past hundreds of years. As for creation and questions about why God doesn’t show himself or prove He is God, leads into the next
