Evolution Of Gender Roles
I believe that as we grow we are all surrounded by typical gender roles by one way or another. I have experienced this even in my own household. Girls should cook and clean and the boys should help out outside and be attended. My mom was a stay at home mom and my dad was the provider that was just the routine I was taught, but they always encouraged us since young to be the best person possible and education for them was very important for my dad and mom. They always wanted us to go to college and make a profession of ourselves so it was different.9 years ago my dad passed away so ever since then my mom became the provider and began making sure we all helped out around including my brother the only male in the house.     During the evolutionary adaptation time period, between 10-40 thousand years ago, our ancestors were hunter-gatherers. This created a division between men and women.
