1st QUARTER ACCOMPLISHMENT REPORT OF 2010
A. INSTRUCTION
I. STUDENT DEVELOPMENT 1. Seminars Training Attended a. A Training-Workshop on the Dynamics of Campus Journalism for New Writers was organized and attended by the BSE-III Campus Journalism Class headed by Jennifer B. Caspe, SPO Adviser, last January 29, 2010 EVSU-Burauen ICT-TC Bldg. Speakers include Michael Carlo C. Villas, Editor-in-Chief of The Tribune Eastern Visayas and Fenna Joyce Moscare, UP Vista Editor b. The Training on Small Ruminants and Tissue Culture was attended by BAT-IV students together with their adviser, Irene G. Tenebro, Assistant Professor at VISCA, Baybay, Leyte last January29-31 and February 5-6, 2010 c. The Student Teaching Congress held at the People Center, Tacloban City last February 2, 2010 was participated by all BSE and BTHELE 4th year students together with Dr. Petronila D. Tila-on, Head, College of Education d. The PAFTE Seminar on Practice Teaching at the Holy Infant College, Tacloban City last February 26, 2010 was participated by all BSE and BTHELE 4th year students headed by Dr. Petronila D. Tila-on, Head, College of Education e. A Seminar on Entrepreneurship was participated by the BSBA IV students held on February 27, 2010 at Brgy. Kapulhan, Dagami, Leyte. Speakers include Tabon – Tabon Mayor Rustico Balderian, Dr. Paciente Cordero and Gilbert Vertulfo. f. The second part of the Entrepreneurship Seminar was organized and facilitated by the BSBA IV students at the EVSU ICT-TC bldg. Speakers include Detti Panis and AVON General Manager Tacloban Branch g. A Career Orientation Program sponsored and hosted by the College of Business and Entrepreneur (COBE) which was attended by all third year and fourth year students across colleges was held on March 5, 2010 at the EVSU- Burauen ICT-TC Bldg. h. A Leadership Training was spearheaded and attended by all Second Year PE Class last March
