Interoffice Memorandum
DATE: October 28, 2014
TO: Storm Weathers, Chief Executive Officer Hank Beast, Vice President of Operations Sandy Beaches, Vice President of Public Relations Operations Crystal Waters, Vice President of Marketing Scott Burns, Vice President of Advertising
FROM: Fancy Pants, Vice President of Human Resources
SUBJECT: Roanoke Office
The past few months, the Roanoke office has been experiencing some difficulties. Last month there were complaints from four of their clients about the work being produced. There is a feeling this may be caused by low morale. Graphic artists and copywriters have indicated they feel their creative efforts are being rejected or revised without consultation. They are also being asked to work longer hours to accommodate the new accounts the branch has accepted, without proper compensation. Some of these employees are threatening to quit. We must give this matter our immediate attention, before we lose some very valuable clients.
It is vital, as an Executive Team, we contact the Roanoke Branch and help them get this problem under control before it affects the entire company. Hank, I would like you to follow up with the Roanoke clients about their specific complaints. Crystal, I would like you to come up with a timeline for the current project workload that is causing the long work hours. Sandy, please talk with the Public Relations office in Roanoke for their insights.
Please e-mail your reports to me by November 10, 2014. After reviewing your reports I will meet with Snoopy Pup, the HR director in Roanoke to discuss the issues. At that time an Executive meeting will be planned to discuss what changes need to be considered and implemented.
Thank you for your help in this matter. It is a very critical time for the Roanoke branch and company as a whole.
