Another very important thing to do right before the exam is to stay up late at night and play lots of video games. Doing this would help you in two distinct ways. First, you will be better able to read and write your exam the next day. This is because video games have been known to hone your mental capabilities and to improve your hand eye coordination. When you go into the exam room the next day, your hands and eyes would be seeing, well hand to eye and you will be able to write faster, clearer, and smoother. Another way that this would help would be by making you tired when you stay up late at night playing the games. Almost all teachers and…

Thomas Paine’s “Common Sense” happens to be one of if not the most influential and motivational works of the year 1776 at the beginning of the American Revolution. Not only did it present a viable argument against the need for reconciliation with Great Britain and give a multitude of reasons for the need to depart from the rule of the British monarchy, but it also brought on an increasing sentiment for revolution amongst the colonies and inspired the writing of the Declaration of Independence. This essay will outline the most relevant argument made in Paine’s literary work that lead to its popularity amongst the British colonists, and how its influence lead to the signing of the Declaration of Independence. It will also give the opposing views of the many colonists from North America and the Caribbean who remained loyal to the British Empire, and give a sound counter-argument against the ideas of “Common Sense” and the need for a revolution and a Declaration of Independence.…

What I failed to account for during my preparation was that these examinations were to be conducted in the auditorium of a school where thousands of other students would join me. This was the first time I was appearing for an examination outside the comfort and familiarity of a classroom and this, combined with the fact that I was surrounded by so many people, made me extremely nervous. Furthermore, I failed to time my preparation due to my irregular studying habits, and I also depended on the notes of others and failed to stick with one set of notes. My concepts were greatly jumbled up as a result. The Islamic Studies examination was held first, followed by a gap of a few days and then the Pakistan Studies one. When the Islamic Studies examination started, initially I was focused and was able to grasp the early questions. However, that feeling evaporated soon when I turned over the page, and found that a lot of questions were from the material that I could not revise due to a lack of time. I also ran out of time and could not complete my paper. A look…
