Examination Should Not Be Abolished

Examination is a very wide word, which is used in all spheres of life. We have exams everywhere around the world. Youngs and adults can have exams, there is not a particular age to have exams. However, some do not agree that exams are important. Examination is a word that most students are fear of. A word that has a power to change a happy person into a frustrated and nervous one. However, it is a big part of the school that all students have to go through. For some students, they think that exams could make them stress and could cause depression. They have to burn the midnight oil just because they have exams. Well, students should know how to manage their time so that they would not feel stress. Exams could give a big impact in everyone life. As for me, exams should not be abolished because of many good reasons.

The main aim of exams is to assess students’ performance and ability. Exams can test the students how well they are learning in the class and how successful the teachers are in convening their knowledge. By doing the exams, the teachers could know which students are good and which are weak. For instance, if a whole group of students shows poor grades in a subject then the teacher teaching that subject can be encouraged to work harder and improve his or her teaching skills to bring the students at the top. When the students are doing the exams, they use all their knowledge and do the exams by themselves. They will study more and focus more to make sure they score good grades in the exams. The students will memorize all the notes given by the teachers and they will also revise all the works given to them. Exams could test the students’ memories.

Next, exams are necessary for all the students. Exams are essential because exams test students’ skills and enable them to overcome their nerves. Exams may test a greater range of skills and it may also be an efficient way to measure the knowledge. It has been argued that students may suffer from the
