I said for what? And she said you remember, you told me about your role as ice breaker. I brought a slab of ice and here is an item which will help you to break the ice. Our school started late that year because the teachers went on strike to get more money. Besides the late start, the only other event in first grade was we moved leaving all friends and family behind. To the lovely state of Idaho which is really boring compared to Seattle, Washington.…

As a kid, I had sung in a small student choir in my elementary school. I had not received a great deal of exposure to instrumental playing by this time, the more disciplined instrumental instruction began in junior high. However, one day while shopping around in Walmart of all places, I convince my parents to purchase a CD of classical music recordings, after which I absolutely fell in love with classical music. This began my determination for playing an instrument. In my junior high school years, I enjoyed playing with the Carver Cougar Band at school events and outside in the community, while taking on the role of being one of its principal band leaders, which allowed me to explore my creativity and leadership simultaneously. I really did not begin to comprehend the world I had descended into until I transitioned to high school.…

How I Spend My Free Time

As a student, I am quite busy on weekdays. However, at weekends, I have much free time, so I usually spend it on relaxing to prepare for a coming busy week. First of all, in my free time, I like playing some sports, such as soccer, badminton or basketball, with my friends. Sport not only makes me stronger but also connects me with my friends who have the same hobbies. We sometimes go riding in order that we can combine sporting activity and sightseeing. If the weather is not fine enough for me to hang out with my friends, I like to read books. I have a big bookshelf with many kinds of books but I prefer science books. Through these books, my knowledge is gradually enlarged. Thirdly, I also love to listen to music from pop, rock 'n roll to rap or melody. I can listen to music at any place with a small but modern Ipod which is my father's gift for my 18th birthday. Sometimes, I dance freely when listening to my favorite songs. Music really paints my life. Last but not least, I spend my free time on surfing on Internet. I can chat with my friends from very far distance or log on websites to read online news. With Internet, I update many things without having to go anywhere. I can also study English through some interesting websites. (If I have very difficult exercises and cannot solve them by myself, I will visit Google Answers and have somebody to help me. Just like this one ^^). In conclusion, I want to use all of my free time to relax and connect with other…
