For a person to be professional in the working world, it means that they are knowledgeable, controlled and calm. For example, when they make mistakes, they do not just apologize for it, they acknowledge and think of ways to improve it so that they would not repeat the same mistake. Also, during difficult situations, they would remain calm and try to figure out how to handle the situation quickly and peacefully by asking questions, analyzing the situation and giving the best solutions without help from others. Therefore, I feel that professional is not something about their qualifications or certificates, but is about the way they dressed up and who they are as a person.
One good example of professionalism would be the recent event of SQ368 incident.
