On 05/04/2016, I spoke with Francis Reidy in the District II Lobby of the Pasco Sheriff`s Office in reference to Identity Theft, Other Jurisdiction.
Mr. Reidy advised he received a collection notice from Credit Management dated 03/04/2016 in reference to a Comcast bill in the amount of $623.56. He contacted Credit Management and learned a Comcast account was opened in 08/2015, using his name and social security number for service at 2838 Horne Avenue, Tallahassee, FL 32304.
Mr. Reidy said an unknown suspect
used his personal identification information to open the account with Comcast. He stated he has filed an Identity Theft Affidavit with the Federal Trade Commission.
I provided Mr. Reidy with a case number for this report. I forwarded all Support Documents to Records and a copy to Economic Crimes.
No further information.
