SWOT is strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats. According to Chapman 2007, the co-founder of SWOT is Albert Humphrey in the early 1960-70’s who is believed to developed a tactics map out tools from an outstanding companies at America during that time. SWOT analysis mean information obtained from the market situation assessment can be effectively organized through SWOT analysis. Strengths and weaknesses represent internal assessments of the firm’s current capabilities. However, opportunities and threats are external assessments which analyze a firm’s performance.
Our strengths are, our company is the first kindergarten and school in Malaysia to be accredited ISO9001:2000 which have been listed in the Malaysian Book of Records for the year 2002 (Real Education Group 2013). We are the qualified educational services based on our award winning. Besides, our company have strong financial position where they have sufficient financial to do education projects. One of the project that they can do will be “REAL S Plus”. Furthermore, we are competitive advantage in terms of the chain of educational services. We are the only education group in Malaysia that provides ‘Lifetime Education’ ranging from early childhood education right up to tertiary level and subsequently, continuous lifelong learning (Real Education Group 2013).
Our weakness are, our company of people in the administrative position are not good in collecting their bad debts from their debtors which is from the parents. We have found out an increase of 221.95% bad debts have been written off for the year 2011 which is RM52,525 as compared to the year 2010 which is Rm23,665 which will affect the company cash flow statements (Refer to Appendix 1). Due to the slow repayment of term loan, where our company had borrowed money with many types of bank, it has limited the company market accessibility to open in overseas market (Refer to Appendix 1).
