allegory to support his story by using farm animals going through a rough time finding out how
their " government works" and settling the situation.
The story starts off with the animals upset with the farm owner due to them being treated
unfairly. The animals have these seven commandments they go by " whatever goes upon two
legs is an enemy, whatever goes upon four legs,or has wings,is a friend, no animal shall wear
clothes, no animal shall sleep in a bed, no animal shall drink alcohol, no animal shall kill any

He even accused Snowball of ruining the windmill they were
working on with little to no evidence.
Once Napoleon had his power he was able to command the animals and trick them into
thinking they were treated equally. Animals, like Boxer even started to say "Napoleon is always
right " but when several animals stated that they worked with Snowball or went against
Napoleon they were slaughtered. Even Boxer, said "' I do not understand it. I would not believe
such a thing would happen on our farm... From now onwards I shall get up a full hour earlier in
the mornings.'" This text shows the hardship of being on the farm however, Boxer tried his best
to make things seem fine and continue on with his life. The other animals started to become
troubled due to the fact that they realized that even with Mr.jones gone the farm was still being
treated unfairly.
The story presents to you the Russian revolution through a farm and farm animals using
Allegory. The text provides you with examples of how a a state can go from communist society
to a dictatorship society. Doing so can cause hardships along the way and isn't the best choice
