At first, all the animals thought they were equal, but over time a class system was made. Pigs quickly rose to the top and started taking goods like milk and apples, which was rapidly excused by the fact that they were the thinkers and planned out the farm. It’s unfair that the other animals didn’t get the milk or apples and is a sign of corruption. It’s overlooked by the other animals because there’s an excuse for it. For example on page 80 the pigs moved into the farmhouse and slept on the beds without sheets. There were a few animals that were suspicious and when they looked at the seven commandments written about animal farm they saw “No sleeping in beds without sheets” which had 2 extra words making it okay (Also page 80). Nevertheless, earlier in the book that commandment was “No sleeping in beds” which can be inferred that the Pigs changed the rules to fit them, which is a sign of corruption. This is because the Pigs went behind the other animals backs so they could have better things, then covered it up making it look like something else. An additional piece of evidence in the middle of the book was when the hens were told their eggs were going to be taken away to be sold. That in the real world is considered normal however in Animal farm the hens were told they were going to be able to keep their eggs so they can raise them. This not only shows lies, but also the theme of corruption. It was only slightly overlooked because the pigs had the excuse of the money will benefit the farm but it was still cruel and showed how they used their power against the hens which is a sign of
