Examples Of Cultural Artifact

Are you a visual learner or like to read the information? For me I am more visual, but also like to read because sometimes I cannot get all of the information from just a picture. For this project, I showed in pictures and in words what I was trying to express in my paper. I did my remix project on my second paper, which was the cultural artifact. My cultural artifact was the evil eye. I was looking through a magazine, while I was thinking about this project and I saw an evil eye in the magazine. It clicked I was like I have to write about the evil eye. So I thought about it as to how I should remix it and while I was going through the magazine. I thought why not do magazine pages. Then put them on a poster to display it as some magazine pages would be displayed in a magazine office. Looking through my thesis of my cultural artifact paper I thought that if I only do one of these topics it would not be enough, so the three major topics in my paper I tried to condense into pages of pictures and some words. Fashion, Culture, and to believe in or not to believe in the evil eye is what I tried to express in my remix project. In this review, I express the aspect of making the magazine/ photo collage, what pictures in the magazine/ photo collage showed, and what I thought of the project.

I believe that making artwork or videos or podcasts are much more fun to create in my perspective. Then to sit down and write a paper because as I said before it is much harder to write about many topics and much simpler to show what one is wanting to convey. This art piece gives people a different look at the aspects of what I was trying to talk about in my cultural artifact paper, which I think it really cool because there is many different ways to display and idea or topic of what you are trying to say and I believe I was able to do that in my art
