As I was chasing after Cassio, he ran up to Desdemona and gently pressed against her throat with a knife, I then stopped immediately and told him
"Cassio?!... Please don't hurt my Desdemona, it's between me and you.
He then continues to stare at me while slowly backing up to the door. As he got closer to the door, I start to run towards him, Cassio then used the knife to wound Desdemona in her left arm, and ran off outside. As I'm running up to her, Emilia enters and sees the blood pouring down from the queen's arm onto the floor. She starts to scream out loud causing the others to enter; Lodovico, Montano, Gratiano and Iago. they then proceed to stare with a confused and concerned facial expression.
A few hours past by . The queen enters the room hesitated. As she approached me, she attempts to ask a question, but is interrupted by herself stuttering. At first, I thought she might of forgotten her question, but continued to stutter a couple more times, she began sweating and seemed to be intimidated by me, thinking I was frustrated at her. The next day I arrange a meeting with everyone, I ordered them to go find Cassio and bring him back alive, so that we could behead him for what he has done to the queen. An hour passes and everyone was geared up, they marched outside fearless, to catch Cassio. As I was watching them exit, I just couldn't believe that he cut Desdemona's arm with a knife, two inches deep. I felt deep sorrow towards her.     A Moor and renowned soldier leads the Venetian army to victory against the Turks. During this war, he marries a senator’s daughter, Desdemona. Many hold Othello in high esteem; however, his Ensign, Iago, resents him and plots a scheme to ruin his happiness. He plans to make Othello believe that Desdemona and his Lieutenant, Cassio, have an affair after Desdemona and Othello marry. Furthermore, Iago gets Cassio drunk and then stages a fight to turn Cassio against Othello. Iago, whom Othello believes to be honorable, plants the idea of the affair in Othello’s mind; consequently, Othello fills with jealousy and plans to murder Cassio and Desdemona for their disloyalty. Iago makes Othello believe that Desdemona gives Cassio her handkerchief which Othello gives her as a present at their wedding. He also stages a conversation between Iago and himself which implies that Cassio never cares for Desdemona. These events enrage Othello. Therefore, he asks Iago to kill Cassio while he murders Desdemona. Desdemona never knows of Othello’s thoughts or intentions. She believes that he appears hostile because of matters from the State or because of his disagreement with Cassio. Iago’s plan to murder Cassio fails; however, during this time, Othello strangles Desdemona. Later, Othello learns about Iago’s scheme and lies.     In Othello, the setting is in 16th century Cyprus during a war with the Turkish Empire. The language used in respectful and nice compared to “O”. Brabantio calls Othello to the summit and questions him what sorcery he has used to take his daughter Desdemona away from him. Desdemona denies the fact that Othello used any sorcery and says that there love is true and that she left her father for her husband and he left his family for her mother. In this play Desdemona is married to Othello. Iago’s reasons of jealousy are that Othello promoted Cassio to Lieutenant instead of him and that there’s a well-known rumor that Othello has slept with his where the truth hasn’t been brought to light. Nobody is aware of neither Iago’s nor Rodrigo’s intentions. Othello has epilepsy and Iago doesn’t help until Cassio walks in. Desdemona is slapped by Othello and no one can believe that the well-known respected general would do such a thing. Othello makes Iago his blood brother and Iago tells him to kill Desdemona and he will kill Cassio for him.     In the play, Othello, by William Shakespeare, a character named Iago, manipulates people to get what he wants. One character that is manipulated the most by Iago is Othello. The reason why is because Othello made Cassio his lieutenant and there were rumors that Othello has been sleeping around with his wife, Emilia. Iago involves Desdemona, Othello’s wife, in his plan by making it seem that Desdemona and Cassio are having a relationship.     Othello still very much affected about the thought of his wife and her unknown faithful standings, interprets this to mean Iago is suggesting any man’s head would hurt if they were just deceived by their wife. Iago then comforts Othello explaining to him things like this happen all the time and that he will in fact get through it. Othello then declares Iago to be very wise. Iago not straying away from his goal to ruin Othello’s life, tells him to hide back a ways so that he can over hear a conversation between him and Cassio. A conversation in which Iago plans to incriminate Cassio by the way in which it will seem he talks about Desdemona so lightly. Othello agrees and is almost pleased with this idea. After Othello backs away, Iago divulges this particular plan to us, the audience, explaining that he’ll talk in veiled terms to Cassio about a prostitute, Bianca, whom Cassio takes very lightly. Iago believes when Othello listens to this conversation, he is bound to think Cassio is making light of his wife, Desdemona. Iago will underhandedly have given proof to Othello, yet again. Cassio, of course, laughs about how much the woman loves him, how desperate she is, and how easily beguiled she has been by his false intentions of marriage.
