The decision to do what is ethically right can be a somewhat life changing experience. When people go to church to confess their sins, weather it was cheating on a spouse or murdering someone, the priest is bound by god to keep it a secret and not disclose any information confessed. Now, say their were a situation where a man confessed to a murder where another man was found guilty. Should the priest step up as a witness to insure that the right man goes to jail? Or should he keep the confession a secret like he was intended to? This would be an extremely difficult decision due to the many conflicts it causes.
