Examples Of Ethos Pathos Logos

Attending to my English class clearly improve my writing and helps me to be better critical tinker. Reading with and against the Grain helps me to know the importance of the recognition of logical point of view and learned many new techniques, terms, and styles of writing that I had never been introduced to before.
Now I am more familiar with the terms ethos, pathos, and logos within writing. I believe the knowledge of all three terms help me to create more effective persuasive paper in the future. I’m going to write short examples of each of them; Ethos refers to one’s own character image or reputation in the eyes of an audience. Pathos refers to appeals to your audience’s emotions or sympathies. Logos I like the most in the context of
rhetoric, logos refers to an audience’s sense of logic, reason, and rationality. Base on those three terms I can consider myself as a person who love people, warmly interested in others extremely good at reading others, and understanding their point of view. I have respect and believe in the laws and rules of authority, and believe that others should do so as well. I enjoy tradition and security, and, I’ll seek stable lives that are rich in contact with friends and family. Overall through the my English classes I had don so far I gained a better knowledge and understanding for many literary analysis and concise writing.
