Examples Of Events That Can Place During Severe Weather

There are several event that can take place during severe weather than can be hazardous to people and property. Some of these include tornadoes, hurricanes, hail cores, lightning, and water spouts. These all fall under the atmospheric hazard category and each present a slightly different threat. For example, tornadoes can take place almost anywhere and bring high velocity winds, teeming with large and dangerous debris. Unlike tornadoes, hurricanes form over water and lift large amounts of ocean water up into the sky to be dumped later onto dry land causing serious flooding concerns. Hail cores, in the simplest description, is frozen water that builds into large ice pieces that fall from the sky creating a blunt force injury threat. Lightning
