Examples Of Foreshadowing In The Titanic
Cameron made a connection between emotion and music and night and day. In emotional scenes, soft music would play, when someone was running, fast music would play. During the day Rose was cold towards Jack, at night their relationship prevailed and Rose was in love. This shows viewers that she didn’t want their relationship to be known. Cameron used foreshadowing throughout the Titanic which is shown when: the captain and crew are talking about the calm water, if there’s an iceberg they wouldn’t be able to see it, and when Rose explains that if something were to happen, there wouldn’t be enough lifeboats for everyone. This foreshadows that the ship is going to hit an iceberg and that many people are the ship are going to die.
