In “The Great Gatsby” there are many claims about the Narrator Nick Carraway being innocent throughout the book. ‘You’ve got to try hard old sport I can’t go through this alone” (165). This quote from the book showing nick being a true innocent man trying his hardest to find someone for gatsby. This evidence shows nick was innocent at the end trying to be a true friend.
