It’s sort of how Atticus told them that it’s a sin to kill a mockingbird, because they don’t anything to people just sing songs.This shows that Jem has grown up through the book “ To Kill a Mockingbird.”
On the other hand, scout also changed when she stopped herself from fighting all the time like she use to.Scout showed how she can follow what Atticus tells her “just [to] hold your head high hand and keep [her] fists down” (Lee 101).Scout would always get into fights but then she knew that Atticus would never asked them to do anything. Scout tries to do what Atticus told her, and gets an idea of what that meant. This is just of many examples that show that scout has changed.
This may be true, but Jem is the one that changes the most in the book in the end of the trial.In the book “To kill a mockingbird” Jem starts to cry “ His face was streaked with angry tears as [ Jem and Scout] made their way through the cheerful crowd,” ( Lee 284) . Jem was crying because he knew what the right thing was. By just even looking at Tom everyone knew that he was innocent, he was so sure that Tom would win because it was the right thing to do.Thus showing how jem changed throughout the book more than anyone else in the
