Change is one of the most unavoidable obstacles in the growth of any organization. It is the expectation that managers develop effective skills to lead organizational change in the most positive way. In return leading to a visual success of the organization. In this journal I will be reviewing personal thoughts on the book, “Leading Change” by John P. Kotter. The most appealing topics on what is necessary to create major change in an organization, the eight fundamental errors of transformation efforts in an organization, and how to maintain the status quo of the organization.
Leading change is a great book that not only gives great thoughts and ideas to managers on how to approach change. It also includes many stories that give examples on how to approach effective change. One of the best thought and opinions that was most appealing is to align vision to employees.
